Alana researches women's reproductive and mental health and is especially interested in this in the work context across career and lifespan and the narratives that surround this. She loves collaborative research methods that centre participant voices and experiences. Eleanor was diagnosed with PMDD after her son was born.

Her personal experience with psilocybin helped her enormously in supporting her symptoms. In 2023, her and Alana began working together on an exploratory research to interview other women with PMDD diagnosis who had experienced larger doses of magic mushrooms. Eleanor hosts meetings for women who live in Lisbon and who work in psychedelics, they meet and discuss topics around providing service in this space.
